Three Indian Air Force officers have been dismissed in connection with the mistaken launch of a Bramos missile into Pakistan.
On March 9, a Brahmos missile, which was mistakenly launched from Rajasthan during maintenance, fell 124 kilometers into Pakistan’s territory. No explosives were attached to the missile, so major damage was avoided.
A high-level inquiry into the incident revealed that the missile was mistakenly launched because three Air Force officers did not properly follow the guidelines. All three were fired immediately
