The Armenian Businessmen’s Association together with the Ministry of Economy and the Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce held the Armenian-Italian forum “Strengthening partnership ties” in Yerevan on September 5.
The new digital platform developed as a result of the memorandum signed between the Armenian Businessmen’s Association and the Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce was launched at the forum.
From now on, any Armenian businessman, by filling out an application on the website and indicating which Italian company he wants to work with, can establish direct contact with the given partner within days.
RA Deputy Minister of Economy Narek Teryan, President of the Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce Ferdinando Pellazzo, Executive Director of the Armenian Businessmen’s Association Gohar Ghumashyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Italy Tsovinar Hambardzumyan and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Italy to the Republic of Armenia Alfonso Di Rizzo spoke at the forum.
RA Deputy Minister of Economy Narek Teryan mentioned in his speech about the significant growth of Italian-Armenian economic relations.
“The trade turnover of the Republic of Armenia with Italy in the months of January-June 2023 amounted to 200.0 million USD, which increased by 41.0% compared to the same period last year”
The event was attended by 180 Armenian and more than 100 Italian businessmen who joined online.
The event was held with the support of “Tashir” group of companies.
