Today, Saturday, our junior handball team achieved victory over its Tunisian counterpart with a score of 24/23 goals in the Mediterranean Championship.
The media coordinator for the game federation, Hossam Abdel Reda, told the (INA): “Our team succeeded today in repaying its Tunisian counterpart and succeeded in defeating them by one goal, 24/23, after the extension, following the 21/21 draw.”
He added, “With this victory, our team ranked seventh out of 8 countries participating in the tournament hosted by Turkey, with the participation of France, Romania, Kosovo, Montenegro, Tunisia, Croatia, and the organizing country, Turkey.”
He continued, “The participation of our junior team comes in preparation for the Asian Championship organized by Iran at the beginning of next September and will qualify for the World Cup finals.”
