Close to 5,718 Chabad branches from over 100 countries will participate next week in the world branch convention in New York.
The branches will participate in meetings and lectures and intensive workshops that will deal with the important issues that are at stake in the life of the Jewish woman in the Diaspora.
The convention will be held at the Edison New Jersey Convention and Exhibition Center.
The one who was chosen to give the keynote speech is the journalist and media woman Sion Rahab Meir, who noted that during her career she has hosted major television shows and interviewed a wide variety of first-class people in Israel and the world, but the speech she will give to Chabad affiliates will be the first of its kind and very exciting for her.
The main event will also include a special speech by the Chabad emissary in the city of Kharkiv in Ukraine, Rabbi Miriam Moskowitz, who has faced hardships in the past year and bravely stood by the members of her congregation and provided assistance.
