«Only poetry is transcendent!/Only readers, in informal conversations with their soul,/have the right to shit/the poetsyes”, he wrote Roberto Bolaño in 1992, in a poem signed in Blanes in which he encourages critics not to believe. «How can they judge poets?/How can critics judge dead/or badly wounded tightrope walkers?/Take their interpretations as fiction/without much significance», ends in some unpublished verses that his heirs have recently published, coinciding with the seventieth anniversary of the birth of the Chilean author.
To commemorate the round number, and also when they are about to complete twenty years since his death in Barcelona, in July 2003Bolaño’s heirs have opened their archive to spread on the web photos of the writer, handwritten notebook pages, drawings and texts signed in many of the cities where he spent his days, from Mexico in the 70s to Barcelona, Girona and Blanes in the final.

In total, they are fourteen notebook pages which include praise for the Latin American émigrés from Barcelona in the 80s, memories for his Mexican friends, notes made just before he turned 27 and on the same day of his birthday in a campsite near the sea or a poem with airs by Cavafy written from Girona.
