by time news

OnePlus (OnePlus) has announced the first beta version of Android 12 for its older devices, the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro which were released about three years ago.

Users who own one of the models can already try out the big and perhaps latest update for them based on Android 12 with the updated OxygenOS 12 interface. The company says that this includes the new design, improvement to the battery with the Smart Battery Engine feature available in other models, improvements to the AOD mode on the lock screen, game mode, gallery and more.

Those who want to try it out, will be able to download the version and install it on the OnePlus 7T / 7T Pro device and that a minimum version of 11.0.7.1 or 11.0.8.1 is required. It is important to note that this is not a final version and as such it may not function properly in day-to-day operation.

Meanwhile, One Plus has released the Android 12 version for most of its devices from the last two years, and this includes both the OnePlus 8 and above models as well as the Nord and Nord 2 models as well as the CE edition. It is likely that OnePlus 7 will not continue to be updated beyond the 3 years since it was launched in September 2019.
