The lawyer from Cáceres Juan Manuel Hurtado Muñoz passed away this Sunday at the age of 80. He was a well-known person in his city, where he was a councilor from 1983 to 1987 for Alianza Popular. A good part of his life he worked in the family medicine distribution company, Hurtado y Compañía Sociedad Limitada, but when he was almost 50 he decided to turn around and to his Business Administration degree he added another in Law from the University of Extremadura. He handled cases of different kinds for more than two decades.
He was the father of the journalist María Hurtado and the basketball coach and television commentator ‘Piti’ Hurtado. The burning chapel is installed in the San Pedro de Alcántara Funeral Home, where the funeral mass will be held this Monday at 10:00 a.m.
