May 10 marks the 101st anniversary of the birth of the architect, creator of modern independent Azerbaijan, outstanding statesman and national leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev.
As Day.Az reported on Friday with reference to the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan, in this regard, the leadership and staff of the Ministry of Health visited the Alley of Honor, where they honored the memory of the great leader Heydar Aliyev and laid flowers at his grave.
The memory of the outstanding ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva was also honored, and flowers were laid at her grave.
“Flowers were also laid on the graves of the outstanding statesman and public figure Aziz Aliyev and the talented doctor Tamerlan Aliyev.
National leader Heydar Aliyev has always shown special attention to the development of national healthcare in Azerbaijan. The training of qualified medical specialists in the republic is also associated with the name of the great leader,” the department said in a statement.
