Ahmedabad: A girl was brutally hacked to death by her boyfriend after she announced that she was ending her love affair. The incident took place in Vadodara, Gujarat. Trisha Solanki (19) was hacked to death. Trisha’s boyfriend Kalpesh Thakur (23) has been arrested by the police. Trisha had her hand amputated from her body after being cut several times.
Kalpesh told police that he had been in love with Trisha for three years. But two months ago, Trisha told Kalpesh that she was withdrawing from love and that she had another friend. This is where the problems begin.
Despite repeated requests to continue the romance, Trisha did not give up. He then started threatening to kill himself. He came with Trisha to an unoccupied area near National Highway 48, asking her to speak to him in person.
Despite being asked to stay in love once again, Trisha did not give up. This time he stabbed Trisha in the neck with the weapon he was carrying in his hand. He was later stabbed several times and confirmed dead. His hand was cut off from the body. After this he left the place.
The locals found the body and informed the police. The person was identified after getting the Aadhaar card from the body. Trisha hails from Godhra and studied at her uncle’s house in Vadodara.
