The Maccabi Haifa players demonstrated impressive abilities but lost 3:1 to PSG

by time news

Last night (Wednesday) a historic soccer match was held between Maccabi Haifa and Paris Saint-Germain as part of the group stage of the Champions League at the Sami Ofer Stadium in Haifa.

Although Paris Saint-Germain includes some of the best footballers in the world – including Leo Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe – Maccabi Haifa managed to give them a decent fight and also score their first goal in the first half. The match ended 3:1 in favor of PSG.

In the first half, PSG took a bad surprise and the “Greens” managed to pressure it, until the 24th minute when Chiron Sherry managed to score against the goalkeeper Donnarumma.

PSG players took time, but they justified their titles as super players and by half time Leo Messi managed to score an equalizing goal.

In the second half the greens still gave everything, but naturally got tired. In the 69th minute it was Mbappe who scored, and in the 88th minute Neymar closed the story and the three stars of PSG came out with moments of brilliance.

But the Haifas lost honorably and are proud of themselves for the abilities they demonstrated in the game and are also optimistic about accumulating points later in the campaign.
