The main demand of the people involved in the struggle in Colombo is to India

by time news

An anti-government activist in Colombo told the Indian Express that the Indian government should not support the Rajapakse government but should help the people.

People are suffering due to the severe economic crisis in Sri Lanka.

The daily sufferings of the people do not include the power cuts, the queue for fuel, the queue for essential commodities, the shortage of medicines and the severe inflation of goods.

People who could not bear this have taken to the streets today.

I have to tell the Indian government not to support the Rajapaksa government when someone involved in the struggle says in this situation. We thank India for its assistance but I want the Government of India to stand by the people of Sri Lanka during this difficult time.
