A total of 2.2 billion euros will be paid to 4,119,028 beneficiaries, from August 28 to September 1, 2023, as part of the scheduled payments of the e-EFKA and the Public Employment Service (DYPA).
In particular, as stated by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security in its announcement:
1) The e-EFKA will make the following payments, as part of the organization’s regular payments:
From August 28 to September 1, 2023, 19.3 million euros will be paid to 950 beneficiaries following the issuance of one-off decisions. On August 31, 2023, 5.6 million euros will be paid for the payment of pension advances (of Law 4778/21) for the month of September 2023 to 15,000 pensioners. From August 28 to August 30, 2023, 2,178,842,961 euros will be paid for 4,063,878 main and auxiliary pensions.
The following payments will be made by DYPA:
14 million euros to 22,000 beneficiaries for the payment of unemployment benefits and other benefits. 15 million euros to 16,000 beneficiaries under subsidized employment programs. 6.5 million euros to 1,000 mothers for subsidized maternity leave. 4 million euros to 200 beneficiaries for programs of a public interest nature.
