I sometimes listen to music in my dressing room before playing. What I listen to is often linked to what I have to play, to the energy I need to summon. Like a somewhat naive and adolescent attempt to charge myself with the right emotion before going on stage. But sometimes, silence is golden.

I can still get excited about Elsa’s first album. It’s not so much that I’m ashamed. It’s because in theory I’m past my age.
