Dr. Zahid Hossain said, after being admitted yesterday, several tests were done on madam (Khaleda Zia) on the advice of the medical board. Reports of those tests have started coming in. Khaleda Zia’s medical board doctors will sit after this evening. Review the reports that have already been received and give the necessary treatment. At the preliminary stage, the members of his medical board sat last night and the treatment is going on as per their advice.

He said that Begum Khaleda Zia is undergoing treatment under the supervision of doctors. His condition was the same till yesterday. But there is some improvement after treatment.

Earlier, Khaleda Zia went to Evercare Hospital for a health check-up on February 27. He has been suffering from various physical complications including arthritis, diabetes, kidney, liver, lung, eye problems for a long time. Sometimes he has to be taken to the hospital if the illness worsens. Currently, Khaleda Zia is undergoing treatment under the supervision of private doctors at Feroza’s residence in Gulshan.
The 77-year-old BNP chairperson is undergoing treatment at this private hospital after being released from parole. A medical board headed by cardiologist Professor Sahabuddin Talukader is supervising his treatment.
