With an order to the Minister of Agriculture Kiril Vatev, preceded by a report, the adverse climatic events during the year were announced, the areas, in which there are injured farmers and crops with lesions. Producers will be compensated for their losses if they are approved for state aid under the scheme.
– Distressing situation of storm/hailstorm, torrential/torrential/continuous rain with flooding/stormy wind with hail has been declared in Burgas, Vidin, Dobrich, Montana, Razgrad, Ruse, Silistra, Sliven, Sofia region and Yambol for the crops cabbage, pepper outdoors, squash, outdoor tomatoes, potatoes, tomatoes (in unheated greenhouses), watermelons, sunflowers, corn, cilantro, and field beans.
– Flooding in Sofia region with potatoes.
– Hail in the regions of Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Vidin, Pleven, Silistra, Sliven and Shumen for crops wheat, barley, corn, rapeseed, sunflower, pumpkins, pumpkins for seeds, field beans, strawberries, watermelons, outdoor tomatoes, nectarines, peaches , melons, plums, apples and wine vines.

Farmers with completely failed areas of the specified area and agricultural crops are entitled to support under the terms of the state aid scheme for compensating damage caused by disasters.
The aid will be paid according to the order and amount determined by the Management Board of DF “Agriculture”.
