Servicemen of the tank army of the Western Military District completed the loading of tanks and other equipment onto railway platforms and headed to their permanent deployment points after the planned exercises.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Defense, military personnel and equipment will have to march 1000 km in a “combined way”. Where exactly and where the tank army of the Western Military District went, the department’s message does not say.
Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said on February 15 that a “complex of large-scale operational training activities” continues in the Russian armed forces, in which “practically all military districts, fleets and airborne forces” participate.
