The Ministry of Youth discusses the timetable for the Diyala Olympic Stadium project

The Director General of the Department of Engineering and Technical Affairs at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Abdul Khaleq Khader Al Khafaji, chaired a joint meeting that included representatives of Raya Al Alamein Company, in the presence of the Assistant Director General, the Director of the Strategic Projects Department, and the Head of the Resident Engineer Department.

A statement by the Ministry of Youth, received by the (INA), stated that “the meeting discussed the most important ways that would raise the pace of work on the Diyala Olympic Stadium project with a capacity of 30,000 spectators, and set a timetable for the progress of the work.”

The statement quoted a representative of the implementing company as saying: “The problems in the work will be overcome, the project will proceed, the deviations caused by changing the designs will be addressed, and the pillars will be added under the foundations of the main stadium, increasing the safety of the facility, according to the opinion of the consulting body.”

The Diyala Olympic Stadium project includes a main stadium with a capacity of 30,000 spectators, two training fields, and a 4-star hotel.
