Standing committee member of BNP, Mirza Abbas, has commented that the Awami League has succeeded in overthrowing the government without the help of any foreign masters based on the quota reform movement.

He made this comment at a rally organized in front of the central office of BNP in Nayapaltan of the capital on Wednesday (August 7).

He said, many people say that freedom was not given to us in 1971. But we gained independence by fighting the liberation war. This movement succeeded without the help of any foreign masters. The students and people of this country have succeeded. So we have no fear.

He further said that while we are celebrating victory festival, some miscreants are trying to create chaos in the country. You will resist them. I have heard a lot of reports of occupation of various structures including houses in different places. I am telling the brothers of BNP, student brothers – these must be resisted. We will not allow it. We will guard the establishment. Beware of all conspiracies.

This member of the BNP Standing Committee said that those who are trying to cause trouble in various places and institutions, they should be alert, be careful. The unity of the students will destroy all your conspiracies. Keep your eyes and ears open, be prepared anytime. Any evil forces we will deal with again.

Highlighting the contribution of BNP leaders and workers in the last decade, Mirza Abbas said, BNP leaders and workers could not sleep properly until now. They can sleep now. I also slept a lot last night.
