Within 7 days, Minister Hristo Hinkov must present a report on what has been done so far. In 30 days, the plan for building the medical facility should be ready, and then a report will be given every month

With 166 “yes” votes, the deputies obliged the Minister of Health to present to the National Assembly a plan for the accelerated construction of the National Children’s Hospital. This should happen within one month. After the presentation of the plan, the minister undertakes to submit a monthly report to the National Assembly on the progress of the project.

However, before that, within 7 days, the minister must also present to the deputies a report on the work done on the project so far.

Right from the beginning, the political forces united that there should be a National Children’s Hospital. However, the ITN were extremely active in the debate, even proposing the alternative idea that the Council of Ministers should be closed, as soon as a project with a general consensus cannot be implemented, and that the parliamentary committees fulfill the role of ministries. A little more than 2 hours passed in skirmishes over whether the National Assembly should become a controller for construction and assembly activities, as well as one for the work of a minister.

Grozdan Karadjov was angry that for an hour and a half the parliament was dealing with yet another PP-DB PR action. And once again he said that he clearly has a weak minister. According to him, the majority will force the minister to give an account when a record is even struck. This was not necessary – he just needs to do his job and hire the necessary specialists.
