The delegation of our national football team left us on Friday morning for the Philippines via private plane to play the return match against its Vietnamese counterpart next Tuesday for the double qualifiers.

The (INA) correspondent stated, “The national team delegation left Basra International Airport at dawn today, Friday, accompanied by the Philippine team via a private plane to the Philippine capital, Manila, in preparation for the return match against the Philippine team for the double qualifiers.”
It is noteworthy that yesterday, our national team was able to achieve victory over the Philippine team with a goal to nothing, which came in the last minutes of the match by striker Muhannad Ali.
Our national team leads its group with (9) points achieved from three consecutive victories over the teams of Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines, while the Indonesian team comes second with (4) points and the Vietnamese team comes third with (3) points, while the Philippine team is at the bottom of the group with one point.
