48-year-old King Mizusulu Ka Zwelithini has been crowned South Africa’s new Zulu king. The historic coronation of the Zulu king took place in a giant football stadium in the coastal city.
King Mizusulu Ka Zwelithini was formally recognized as King by President Cyril Ramaphosa in a coronation ceremony attended by thousands of people in traditional dress.
Traditional celebratory songs, dances and rituals were held.
