The newborn, who was delivered by caesarean section on Wednesday after his mother died in a car accident on the border of Kecskemét, has died, RTL Híradó has learned.
The baby, who was born in the 33rd week of pregnancy weighing 1,700 grams, had to be resuscitated on the spot. In the end, it was possible to bring him to a transportable condition and bring him to the intensive care unit of a hospital in Budapest. RTL learned from several sources that the newborn died shortly after. This has not been officially confirmed by the hospital.
The woman who suffered the accident was not wearing a seat belt, she was probably afraid that she would press on her fetus with her belt, but according to the expert, this problem could have been avoided with a belt deflection device available in baby shops.
