The ninth edition of International Fire Safety and Security Expo is going to start in Dhaka. Electronics Safety and Security Association of Bangladesh (ISAB) is organizing this exhibition on February 17-19 at Bangabandhu International Conference Center.
ISAB president Niaz Ali Chishti gave details of the exhibition at a press conference held at the National Press Club on Wednesday (February 14).
He said that the aim of this exhibition is to strengthen the fire safety system in the country by reducing the risk of fire, to make modern equipment available to everyone and to increase awareness about fire safety and security.
It was informed in the press conference that this exhibition will be open for visitors from 11 am to 8 pm.
Through this exhibition, more than 100 companies from 30 countries will display their products. Products will be showcased in three categories: Fire Safety Solutions, Security Solutions and Building Automation.
Niaz Ali Chishti said that various awards will be given in this year’s expo, commercial buildings, residential buildings and industrial factories; Those who have ensured proper fire fighting and safety measures in these three categories will be selected for the award. Apart from this, the fire service personnel will be given special honors by ISAB for their courageous role in fire fighting and accident rescue.
This year’s exhibition is supported by Directorate of Fire Service and Civil Defense, BGMEA, BKMEA, BTMA, Dhaka North and South City Corporation, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Home Affairs. FBCCI has given full support to the exhibition.
ISAB Senior Vice President SM Shahjahan Saju, Secretary General Zakir Uddin Ahmed, Additional Director of Directorate of Fire Service and Civil Defense Anwar Hossain were present in the press conference.
