The number of vacancies in the oil and gas companies of Siberia has risen sharply

by time news

Work in the oil and gas fields attracts, as before, many Russians. The reason is clear – high or relatively high salaries. Compared to 2020, the chances of getting into the ranks of the fuel and energy complex workers have become much greater: if we compare the number of open vacancies in the field of “raw material extraction” for eight months, then, for example, in the Tyumen region the increase was 50 percent, in Ugra – 66.

But there are a lot of people who want to take a free seat. In August, in these regions, each, according to HeadHunter Ural, had approximately seven resumes. In Yamal and Yugra, among those looking for work, the largest share in the Russian Federation of those who dream of getting a job in mining enterprises is 11.5 and 11.3 percent, respectively. This is logical, given the mono-industry specifics of the industry in the northern districts. By the way, the oil industry accounts for a third of all vacancies here.

But in terms of the average wages in the mining sector (this includes workers at ore deposits), the regions of the Ural Federal District are inferior to the Magadan Region, Yakutia, and Moscow. In Ugra, based on the proposals of employers in August, the average level slightly exceeded 64 thousand rubles, practically the same was in the Tyumen region. The figure, obviously, will discourage many: just something? Indeed, in the mass representation, oil and gas workers, if they do not row money with a shovel, are definitely enough for a sandwich with red caviar. Indeed, a large army of specialists in the fuel and energy complex earns 90-130 thousand rubles each. The heads of departments, heads of enterprises go from 500-700 thousand to several million a month, but they do not count – people for top positions are usually looked for without contacting recruitment agencies.

– We fix the average salaries in the supply market. There are quite modest ones, there are solid ones. Naturally, we do not reflect the entire range of employee salaries, but the picture is quite objective in terms of the current demand of employers, – says Anna Osipova, head of the press service of HeadHunter Ural.

According to the analytical system “People in Figures”, in 2021 the upper limit (also on average) of the range of offered salaries in the Tyumen region is 135 thousand rubles, in Yamal – 137, in Ugra – 118.

Among the vacancies that remained open at the beginning of this week, in the first place in monetary terms is the head of directional drilling with a “salary” of 300 thousand rubles. Work in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. In the same region, the rotational locksmith for servicing the fifth-grade drilling rigs is offered 139 thousand rubles, the operator of technological installations on duty – 56-64 thousand, the pombur for the overhaul of wells of the fifth grade – 75 thousand. The same pomboor with the same qualifications in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug can count on a maximum of 135 thousand rubles. Well, and another example: a Tyumen service company is looking for a commissioning and testing engineer, promising from 85 to 120 thousand, and as bonuses – nourishing three meals a day at the facilities and comfortable accommodation at the expense of the employer.

What is curious: the average offered salaries in the past month exceeded the August two years ago in Yamal by 4.6 thousand rubles, in the Tyumen region – by 1.3 thousand, and in the Khanty-Mansiysk district they decreased by three thousand rubles.
