Actor, screenwriter and creator Ilan Rosenfeld, best known as “Ilan” from the immortal series “The Pajamas”, separated from his wife Tal Rivlin after 9 years of marriage and two children together.

Last weekend, Rosenfeld, in a rare step on his part, was interviewed for the 24-hour supplement of Yediot Ahronoth, and talked about the joint performances he holds with Oded Paz and the band “The Helmets”, historic reunion performances that have been filling halls for six months, and are flocked to by the generations who grew up on the cult series.

Rosenfeld tells Lior Ohana in an interview about the surprise in the demand for performances. “In the beginning we planned two shows for 800 people.” He says, “We started with two shows at Zappa, and within a few hours it was sold out. Then we opened another one, and it was also sold out very quickly. Just like in pajamas, we realize that something is happening. From there we are already at the 23rd show after – 20 thousand people saw us.”

The performances are led by Oded Paz and the musical production and arrangements are in charge of the producer Yishai Suisa. The performances alternately host some of the Pajama stars such as Dana Frieder, Yaniv Polischuk (Gary Mandelbaum), and also other stars such as Eliana Tadhar, Tal Segev, Tal Mosari and Yoni Bloch, who sang the mythological opening of the series.
