The political parties are revving up ahead of the June 9 European elections, shortly before the official start of the pre-election period.
New Democracy invests in the promotion of the government’s work, but also in the dilemma of “stability or adventure”, with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis calling for everyone’s mobilization in order to win the bet of the European elections.
As part of the contacts with the party’s MPs, Mr. Mitsotakis met with 17 ND MPs from Epirus, Peloponnese and Western Greece at Megaros Maximos, among them the MP of Artas Giorgos Stylios and Vassilis Yogiakas of Thesprotia, while due to commitments Preveza MP Spyros Kyriakis was absent due to obligations.
At the beginning of the week, moreover, Mr. Mitsotakis chaired a meeting with the object of planning and coordinating the party’s actions throughout the territory, in view of the June 9 European elections. At the meeting, organizational issues were discussed and an overview of the preparations made for the pre-election period was made, while the ministers who will take responsibility for the “battle” of the European elections by region were appointed. As it became known, the Region of Epirus was taken over by the Minister of Development Kostas Skrekas.
