How residents of Moscow and the Moscow region will receive pensions
Residents of the Russian capital who receive their pension from the 1st to the 9th day of each month in their bank accounts will receive their pension for January at the end of the outgoing year. This is reported by the branch of the Pension Fund of Russia (PFR) in Moscow and the Moscow region.
As stated on the department’s website, pensions to residents of the capital region will be credited on December 29 and 30. At the same time, the delivery of funds through the Russian Post will begin on January 3, 2022.
Earlier, the PFR disclosed the conditions for the appointment of a pension in 2022. Marina Tarasova, deputy manager of the PFR branch in Moscow and the region, said that women who have reached the age of 56.5 years and men who have turned 61.5 years old will be able to retire.
At the same time, for the appointment of an old-age pension, it is necessary not only to reach the above-mentioned ages, but also to have experience and a certain value of the individual pension coefficient.
If these conditions are not met, retirement will be postponed for the period necessary to meet them. In 2022, the minimum length of service should be 13 years.
In the event that a citizen for the remaining five years is unable to gain the necessary experience, he will receive a social pension.
In 2022, social pensions will be indexed by 7.7 percent, insurance – by 5.9 percent.
