In a hearing held this Sunday in the Control Courts based in Almoloya de Juárez, the justice administrator determined to initiate legal proceedings against the aircraft operator for the death of a woman and a man, in addition to their minor daughter, who They were on board when the mishap occurred.

The judge also established preventive detention against Víctor Daniel as a precautionary measure and the court body declined jurisdiction to the agent of the Public Ministry of federal jurisdiction, for being acts within its competence.

The crimes for which he was charged occurred on the morning of April 1, in the municipality of Teotihuacán, where the pilot while operating a hot air balloon caught fire and then fell, causing the death of two of the users, as well as injuries to the daughter of the victims.

Last week, the injured minor was discharged from the Children’s Hospital of the Maternal and Child Institute of the State of Mexico (IMIEM), located in the city of Toluca.

Víctor Daniel was located in a Hospital in Tulancingo, Hidalgo, by members of the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico and was later transferred to the Axapusco General Hospital because he still requires medical attention because he also suffered burns on his body from the accident. .
