Until the last hour, information about the farewell to the outstanding director Gleb Panfilov, who died last Saturday, was constantly changing. Either the House of Cinema was confirmed, where the farewell to the Master was to take place, then only the Novodevichy Cemetery was called. But here is the latest and most reliable information.
On Tuesday, August 29, the director’s coffin will be exhibited in the Church of the Beheading of John the Baptist in the Novodevichy Convent. On August 30 at noon, farewell will begin there. An hour later, a funeral service is scheduled, and at 15:00 there will be a burial. The director will be buried at the Novodevichy Cemetery next to his wife, the great actress Inna Churikova, who died in January of this year.
