The Jerusalem district police arrested a short time ago (Friday) a suspect resident of the area in his 40s, who is suspected to have been actively involved in the incident of violence and assault this afternoon near the compound of the Prophet Shmuel’s tomb.
The arrested suspect was taken to the police station for questioning.
The police said that the investigation of the incident continues and further arrests of those involved are expected.
