In September 2023, ports in the Tarapacá region of Chile experienced a decrease in cargo moved. In total, 1,017,496 tons were moved, representing a decrease of 6.8% compared to the same period of the previous year.

Regarding the loading and unloading of material, 1,000,166 tons were moved, which represents a decrease of 7.2% compared to the previous year. The exports They moved 783,616 tons, which translates into a year-on-year decrease of 9.2%. On the other hand, imports moved 91,673 tons, 8.1% more compared to the same month of the previous year.
