The vice president has inaugurated the informal Council of Ministers of the Environment and Energy of the European Union in Valladolid
The PP has charged hard against the “posturing” of the third vice president and minister for the Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, Teresa Ribera, for going by bicycle to a meeting of European Environment Ministers that is held in Valladolid, but with two official cars escorting her and “emitting twice as much smoke”.
Ribera has arrived by bicycle to inaugurate the informal Council of Environment and Energy Ministers of the European Union in Valladolid, where he has urged the 27 to reach an agreement “as soon as possible” regarding the proposed Euro7 regulation, aimed at decarbonising the automotive sector.
The Deputy Secretary for Institutional Action of the PP and MEP, Esteban Gonzlez Pons, has reproached the vice president for getting to the meeting by bike “she went with an official car in front and another behind, emitting twice as much smoke, to take pictures of it.”
“Look for the video, it’s to break. Sanchismo is also posturing. How ridiculous, minister, aren’t you ashamed to seem to have come out of Vota a Juan?”, she asked in a message on her official Twitter account, which has been picked up by Europa Press.
For her part, the National Secretary of the Interior of the PP, Ana Vzquez, has ironized with that arrival of Ribera to the meeting “Later, to say that it is ecological, it goes in the opposite direction on a street with a guy with his head outside the official vehicle taking pictures of it. You really have to throw them out. Pathetic,” she stated on the same social network.
