Deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro, son of Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro spoke about the upcoming elections in his country scheduled for early October and made a comparison between Javier Milei and his father: “They are alike“, he highlighted.
The son of the president of Brazil was invited to a podcast where he spoke about how important the elections in your country are going to be for the entire region and it was there that he mentioned the similarities between Milei and Bolsonaro.
“Brazil is half of South America. If Brazil falls to the left, it will really be considered as if all of Latin America took a turn“, started.
And he continued: “But if Brazil stays to the right, we are going to leave a message to the whole world ‘Look, you can go outside of what is politically correct, have a government with values based on family defense, a more Christian government,” he said.
In this way, according to Bolsonaro’s son, if the same political force remains in government, the rest of the countries in the region will see a “similarity” that allows them too “follow this path“.
It was there that he named the Argentine politician: “For example, in Argentina there is a candidate for deputy who was recently elected, Javier Milei, he is doing a middle path similar to Bolsonaro“, he began with his comparison.
Although he clarified that Milei does not belong to the Armed Forces and that he is a market economist with a more liberal ideology, he also said that he is embracing conservative guidelines.
“He had more than twice the number of votes that the polls gave him. Then he begins to see something very similar to Bolsonaro. Someone outside the politically correct, the polls giving him much fewer votes than he really had,” he collated.
In that sense, he affirmed that if his father won in October of this year, that success that Milei obtained “can be leveraged with a re-election of Bolsonaro because Bolsonaro being re-elected, the Argentine can say ‘you can really have a Bolsonaro style here too“.
It is not the first time that the eldest son of the Brazilian president flatters the Argentine economist. Already in September, Eduardo himself said that he had a video call with Milei and who supported him in his candidacy.
It was thus that the Brazilian deputy told on his Twitter account that Milei was an Argentine economist whom he had begun to “follow” and that he had seen his videos.
