The President of the Transition hands over the keys of rolling stock to the Prime Minister

Libreville, October 6, 2023-As part of the operation to seize ill-gotten assets carried out by the CTRI, His Excellency, General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema today presented the Head of Government, Mr. Raymond Ndong Sima, with a check for 7 billion 200 million FCFA as well as an allocation of vehicles intended for administrative staff.
The fight against corruption, the restoration of integrity and transparency in the management of public finances constitute the commitment of the President of the Transition.
Indeed, the day after the establishment of the Committee for the Transition and Restoration of Institutions, an investigation was opened with a view to seizing state assets acquired fraudulently. As such, 344 vehicles were seized and allocated to the Defense and Security Forces and the civil administration to strengthen their operational capacity and improve public services.
It should be noted that this handover ceremony only concerns the physical goods seized so far. Extensive investigations are underway to detect other fraudulent transactions.
In addition, the President of the Transition presented the Minister of Health and Social Affairs, Professor Adrien Moungongou, with a large donation of dialysis kits intended to fill the centers dedicated to this vital care.
It will thus allow more than 580 patients spread across the national territory to receive their daily hemodialysis care.
Expressing his gratitude to the Head of State for this more than vital donation, the Minister of Health reassured him to make good use of it in order to avoid possible breakdowns of the said equipment.
