The President was not given an honorary degree; Chennithala with serious allegations | Kerala Government Governor Issue | Rameh Chennithala

by time news

Kollam: Senior Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala has accused the Kerala University of refusing to grant honorary delegation to the President as the basis for the problems between the governor and the government. Chennithala asked if the university had rejected the governor’s suggestion that the President should be deleted due to government interference.

Chennithala also questioned whether the government had the right to intervene in the matter. Chennithala raised six questions before the government. Earlier in the day, Governor Arif Mohammad Khan had said that there were many things that were not in line with the country’s dignity and pride and he did not want to reveal them.

Only one end of the iceberg has come out of the governor’s revelation. What the governor told the media about the dispute between the state government and himself is very serious. He also demanded that those responsible be prepared to clarify 6 points on this occasion.

Important questions raised by Chennithala:

1. Did the Governor, who is also the Chancellor, direct the Vice Chancellor of the University of Kerala to take steps to award the Honorary D Lit to the President? What then?

2. Did the Vice Chancellor of the University of Kerala reject this proposal following the intervention of the Government?

3. Did the Vice-Chancellor seek the opinion of the Government instead of considering the Governor’s proposal to the Syndicate? If so, by what law?

4. Does the government have the right to intervene in such a matter?

5. Did the Vice-Chancellor of Kalady Sanskrit University, who resigned last month, submit to the Governor for approval the decision to award Honorary D Lit to 3 persons before the expiry of his term? If so, when was the list submitted? Whose name is on the list?
