Today, Tuesday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani stressed the importance of holding the Kurdistan Regional Parliament elections in light of political consensus, stressing the need to ensure the achievement of the principle of justice and equality in implementing this entitlement.
The Prime Minister’s Media Office said in a statement received by the (INA): “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani received, today, the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the High Commission, Omar Ahmed Muhammad.”
He added, “During the meeting, the most important procedures that the Commission is taking to conduct elections for the parliament of the Iraqi Kurdistan region were reviewed.”
Al-Sudani stressed “the importance of holding the elections in light of political consensus, with the participation of all societal components from the Iraqi spectrum in the region, and ensuring the achievement of the principle of justice and equality in implementing this entitlement.”
