Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina unveiled the covers of two books written by herself. The two books were unveiled at the cabinet meeting on Wednesday (February 29).

19 speeches of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the United Nations and their English translations have been included in the book ‘Sakler Tare Sakle Amra’. Another book written by the Prime Minister, ‘Ahban’, has included her important speeches to the nation from 2009 to 2023. Prime Minister’s speech writer M Nazrul Islam has written and edited two books.

From 1996 to 2001 and from the formation of the government in 2009 to 2023, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina participated in the debate phase of the United Nations General Assembly session and gave a speech. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina also spoke in Bengali, the mother tongue, in continuation of the speech of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Bengali at the United Nations General Assembly.

His speech was simultaneously translated into English and other official languages ​​of the United Nations. The debate session of the United Nations General Assembly presents various contemporary domestic and international issues.
