EXPERT OPINION – A study carried out by the team of researchers Alexandre Loupy and Marc Raunaud showed a significant drop in organ harvesting worldwide of 15% in 2020.

Alexandre Loupy is a researcher at Parcc (Paris Cardiovascular Research Center, unit 970 Inserm/University of Paris) and director of the Pitor Institute of Organ Transplantation and Regeneration. He is also professor of nephrology at Necker hospital.

Marc Raynaud is scientific director at the Pitor Institute of Organ Transplantation and Regeneration, Parcc (Inserm/Paris Cité University).
