The protest against the legal reform is renewed: these are the roads that will be closed to traffic

Following the renewal of the protest against the legal reform which is planned for tonight (Saturday), changes will be applied to the traffic arrangements in Tel Aviv, with the demonstration starting at 18:00 in the government building and ending at 23:30.

Starting at 17:20 the following streets in the city will be closed to vehicle traffic:

  • Kaplan St. will be blocked from Ibn Gvirol to Menachem Begin in both directions.
  • Leonardo Da Vinci St. will be blocked from Haftman St. to Shaul Hamelech St. in both directions.
  • Leskov St. will be blocked from Haftman St. to Kaplan in the north direction.
  • Arnia St. will be blocked from Harvea St. to Kaplan St. in the north direction.
  • Ibn Gvirol Street will be blocked between Shaul Hamelech Street and Marmorak Street in both directions.
  • Dizengoff Street will be blocked between Huberman Street and Ibn Gvirol Street in both directions.
  • Menachem Begin Road from Shaul Hamelech Blvd to Hashmonaim Street in both directions (including subsidence).
  • Ammunition Hill Street from Migal Alon to Menachem Begin in both directions.
  • Hashmonaim Street will be blocked eastward from Karlibach Street.
  • The ascents to the Peace Interchange on the Ayalon lanes from the north and south.

Starting at 17:00 the following streets will be closed to vehicle traffic:

  • The rise of the youth – the way of peace.
  • Yigal Alon – the way of peace.
  • Yitzhak Sade – the framer.

and starting at 19:00:

  • Yigal Alon – between Yitzhak Sadeh and Derech HaShalom in both directions.

Starting at 5:30 p.m., the following streets will be closed to vehicle traffic:

  • Father howled Jabotinsky corner towards the crossroads.
  • Zissman towards Jabotinsky.
  • Ariel Sharon corner at a crossroads.

Drop-off points for passengers arriving by shuttle:

1. Shaul Hamelech Street between Weizman Street and Ibn Gvirol Street
2. Karlibach Street between Hasmonaim and Laskov.

The police also stated that “you should only wait in regulated parking lots, such as the Reading parking lot and the Carmelite parking lot. For your convenience, the road blocks will be marked on the Waze app. Due to the expected blocks, there may be heavy traffic throughout the district. You must obey the instructions of the police officers stationed at the blocks and use alternative routes.”
