Psychologist Alexey Sapkin named a way to get better sleep at night and be more attentive during the day. To do this, Sapkin advised sleeping with an eye mask.

The fact that sleeping in an eye mask helps you get enough sleep is evidenced by the results of a scientific work published in the journal Sleep, Sapkin said. The experiment showed that volunteers who slept with a mask had a longer slow-wave sleep phase, during which the body recovers especially effectively.

During the day, experiment participants who slept with a mask performed better on tests of attentiveness, reaction speed, memory and learning ability.
