Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdolahian, who is on a visit to Armenia, met a group of Iranians living in Armenia yesterday at the Blue Mosque in Yerevan. reports the IRNA agency.
“Armenia is a part of the civilization of our region. Our approach to relations with Armenia is not tactical, temporary or short-term. At today’s meeting with the Prime Minister of Armenia, we discussed this issue in detail,” Abdolahian said, noting that relations between the two countries registered a trend of development under the government of Ebrahim Raisi.
“We talked with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia about the problems of the political and diplomatic sector, and about security problems with the secretary of the National Security Council. The result of the conversation with the Prime Minister of Armenia proves that the relations between the two countries are on the right track. We have on the agenda the development of a comprehensive and long-term cooperation document between Tehran and Yerevan. This document will be a solid road map for the expansion of relations,” said the Iranian Foreign Minister.
