Renewable energy company Ogwind has signed a NIS 2 million deal with Tempo Beverage Company

As part of the deal, the renewable energy company Ogwind will provide the beverage company Tempo with an energy efficiency system called AirSmart.

The system will be connected to the Tempo beverage company’s compressed air system used for the production of beverage bottles, so it is expected to yield two benefits: reduce production depreciation rates and save energy consumption. The system will be installed at the Tempo beverage factory in Netanya.

Tempo Beverages is partially owned by Heineken Corporation (40%) and is the sole representative in Israel of PepsiCo.

The renewable energy company Ogwind earned about NIS 1.8 million in 2021, a decrease of 82% compared to 2020 when it earned more than NIS 10 million. The decrease in revenue is attributed to delays in sales of the AirSmart system for energy efficiency.

This means that since the summer of 2020 when the share of the renewable energy company Ogwind reached a peak, it has fallen more than 80%. However, the renewable energy company Ogwind is optimistic thanks to the long-term energy storage system it manufactures called AirBattery, a system that uses compressed air. This system has not yet generated revenue, but is expected to be the big economic promise of the renewable energy company Ogwind.

Augwind Renewable Energy Company CEO Alon Raveh congratulated Tempo Beverage on the decision to invest in a project that contributes to the fight against global warming. Successes.

He argues that the war in Ukraine has sharpened in every country the importance of the issue of energy independence, so that the solutions of the company he heads have become more relevant than ever, both the AirBattery energy storage system and the AirSmart energy efficiency system.

He predicts that by 2022 the renewable energy company Ogwind will focus on introducing the company’s integrated systems (AirSmart and AirBattery) into new markets around the world. He appreciates, hopes and believes the results will come over the coming year.
