Deliveries in one hour, in the middle of the night, on weekends in Moscow, it’s over. And even to receive an order at home, you now have to wait an average of three days. It’s unprecedented. The Russian job market, already under tension at the end of the Covid-19 crisis, is now very seized up in certain positions.

Courier – we see this in everyday life in the Russian capital – but also electrician, carpenter, order picker, sales manager. Computer engineers and programmers are also in high demand. Result: more and more women are trying their luck in these sectors, rather in the tertiary sector, even if a 4% increase in applications for security guard jobs has also been noted.

Partial mobilization had another consequence: an increase in temporary job offers: +50% in October compared to September. This time in absolutely all trades: from salesman to doctor through teacher or commercial director. Employers would seek to temporarily replace their mobilized staff.
