In an operation carried out this Saturday, the authorities entered Boluarte’s home, located in the east of Limaand later searched the government palace in search of the watches whose origin has not been specified by the president.

Images broadcast by local media show how a group of agents break the lock on the main door of Boluarte’s residence in the Lima district of Surquillo, after receiving no response after repeatedly knocking on the house.

According to local media, the raid was approved by Supreme Judge Juan Carlos Checkley, following a request presented by the Attorney General, Juan Carlos Villena, as part of the investigation into alleged illicit enrichment and omission of statements in public documents.
