The law to guarantee the labor rights of people dedicated to delivery in the field of digital platforms, popularly known as the ‘Rider law’, will be in effect for two years this Saturday, August 12, and in the delivery sector everything remains the same. A regulation that promised to “change the sign of the times”, as defined by the second vice president and Minister of Labor (currently in office), Yolanda Díaz, and that after 24 months of validity has not managed to subdue the large companies in the sector, Glovo and Uber, which to this day continue to deliver food and other items at home through thousands of freelancers with “total normality”, as defined by them.
