Today, after the court session, the third president of RA, Serzh Sargsyan, in a conversation with journalists, stated that it is not fair to accuse him of being silent.
“After the tragedy that happened in September of this year, this is the 5th meeting with the media. I am the head of a political force and every God’s day I meet with many people and I clearly express my attitude and opinion regarding the happening events,” he said.
When asked by journalists whether he followed Nikol Pashinyan’s latest interview, where he spoke about the negotiation process, Sargsyan answered: “Honestly speaking, I saw a lot of lies and insults in that speech, as usual. But I must clearly emphasize an important circumstance: the ruler of Armenia admitted that he sacrificed Nagorno-Karabakh consciously. When he was talking about some clubs, that is, for him, the NK issue was a club on Armenia’s head, I just didn’t understand which clubs he was talking about, or who were those clubs on Armenia’s head, the co-chairmen? who issued a written statement 5 times about the final status of Nagorno-Karabakh, that it should be finally resolved by free will. Which country was being talked about, who was being talked about, that it was a club, perhaps, the country that supplied us with billions of weapons for free and at discounted prices, and handed it over to Azerbaijan in its entirety?
