The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, made threats against France, threatening to attack its troops if they were transferred to Ukraine.

Reuters writes about this.

The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized that such a step on the part of France would be perceived as a threat to the Russian military and would lead to their consideration as legitimate targets. Zakharova also announced an increase in the number of French citizens killed in the Ukrainian conflict, which, in her opinion, indicates risks for French troops.

Zakharova made this statement after French President Emmanuel Macron did not rule out the possibility of sending troops to Ukraine. According to him, this will be possible in the event of a significant breakthrough of the Ukrainian defense by Russian troops.

Macron noted that French troops would not be sent to Ukraine in the near future, but he called on the allies not to exclude this possibility and to intensify their actions.

Meanwhile, the Russian Federation announced the practice of deploying tactical nuclear weapons as part of military exercises after threats from France, Great Britain and the United States.

Earlier, Kursor wrote that the media assessed the possibility of Russian troops using nuclear weapons in the war with Ukraine. Analysts noted that Moscow is trying to intimidate the West with its nuclear exercises.
