The European Council announced that today, February 13, the EU-Armenia Partnership Council meeting and round table discussion will take place in Brussels.
According to the statement of the Council of Europe, the round table discussion will take place at 15:30 Yerevan time.
“The EU and Armenia will exchange views on the state of implementation of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement and EU-Armenia Partnership priorities, as well as the possibility of moving to a more ambitious program of the EU-Armenia Partnership Agenda. They will also discuss political dialogue and reforms, democracy, rule of law and human rights, economic, trade and sectoral cooperation, as well as migration, mobility and the prospects for starting a visa liberalization dialogue,” the statement said.
After the session, a joint press conference of the Supreme Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borel, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, is planned.
