The session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will be held in Yerevan from October 8 to 9.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a decision instructing the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Head of the State Protocol Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia to ensure the organizational work of the session at a proper level, to prepare the program of the session and ensure the implementation of the activities planned in the program, to accommodate the members of the official delegation in a hotel, to ensure their food.

The Prime Minister instructed the Minister of Emergency Situations to ensure round-the-clock duty of the rescue service at the venue of the event, and the Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia to ensure the anti-epidemic rules and sanitary and hygienic conditions at the venue of the event, the temperature measurement of all participants and, as necessary, the participants of the event, those involved in organizational work and service sector employees testing (by the PCR method), the presence of emergency medical personnel, the operation of medical centers, as necessary, the medical care and service of the participants during their stay in the Republic of Armenia, according to the request submitted by the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and the State Protocol Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.

Nikol Pashinyan instructed the acting head of the State Security Service of the Republic of Armenia to ensure the safety of the guests during their stay in the Republic of Armenia, and the chief of police to ensure the maintenance of public order in places related to the holding of the session.

The session will take place in the sports concert complex named after Karen Demirchyan.

It should be noted that on October 8, “Prosperous Armenia”, “Armenian Revolutionary Federation”, and “Hayrenik” parties called a national rally in Freedom Square.
