On the eve of the passing of the President of the Council of Torah Sages, the head of the yeshiva Hagaon Chacham Shalom Cohen Zatzuk’l, at the age of 91, a memorial service and a central wake is being held at this time at the Purat Yosef yeshiva in the Geula neighborhood of Jerusalem. Shabbat Square broadcasts the rally live.
The assembly is attended by members of the Council of Torah Sages alongside the great leaders of yeshiva, the Sephardic and Lithuanian public.
After the rally, the first prayers will be recited with cantor Moshe Habusha.
